Brothers?

still life propaganda

Since summer 2014 a bloody war tore apart Russia and Ukraine. Two countries, often called brother nations. From the very beginning the physical war was accompanied by one of propaganda. In daily life the traces of propaganda become more and more absurd. A vast amount of political souvenirs appeared on Russian and Ukrainian markets. Most of those objects are aimed at Russia’s president Vladimir Putin – either imperial, as a great leader or as a ridiculous, frustrated gnome.
Russia and Ukraine – even in sense, they are similar to one another – more similar then they like to be!
